The International Day Against Homophobia aims to reach all groups of society, regardless of their sexual orientation.

It’s about all people hoping for a prejudice-free world that can provide a place at the table for everyone regardless of their sexual orientation.

There are many types of sexual orientation (heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, pansexuality, asexuality, etc) and gender identity (female, male, gender-queer, trans*, etc). None of these groups deserve the prejudice today’s society throws at them (excluding cisgender heterosexuals of course, since they don’t get any of that crap).

It’s always good to be informed and find out how we can provide to the community without adding to the normalized discrimination that exists in our world. Talk about it and inform others too if you can, but we need to start with ourselves and our own prejudice.
